- Disable private files
- Hide teacher names on course summary
- Disable content bank
- set timezone
https://www.sysadjournal.com/disable-users-private-files-moodle/ Login as administrator Locate > Site Administrator Click > User > Permissions > Define roles Select > Student Filter type > Private Set the following to prohibit; Add a new my private files block to My home : Prohibit Manage files on own private file area : Prohibit View user private files : Prohibit Add a new private files block : Prohibit
Hide teacher names on course summary Login to Moodle as Administrator. Go to Site Administration > Appearance > Courses. Under Course contacts untick the Teacher checkbox. Click Save changes.
Notify students of quiz https://docs.moodle.org/311/en/Quiz_submission_email_notification Allow confirmation messages to students To do this for an individual quiz, go to: Administration > Quiz administration > Permissions
This may also be done on the site level by the administrator in Administration > Site administration > Users > Permissions > Define roles > Student
In the Capability column under Activity: Quiz find the capability mod/quiz:emailconfirmsubmission Click on the + On the next screen, select Student and click “Allow”
IN student roles: * Disable or removed
- Perform site-wide searches * Unenrol self from the course
- View participants
- View user profiles
- All 'Activity: Chat' related permissions
